Simply heat up on the fast heat setting (H) and then adjust from 1-8 once you reach your desired warmth. For your peace of mind, it will turn off after 3 hours. The double layered fleece keeps the heat trapped for longer, saving you energy. To use it as a regular throw or to machine wash, just detach the controller cord.
