With studio-quality digital converters, 16-bit resolution, a 30Hz–20kHz frequency response, and sample rates up to 48kHz, the Ubermic ensures clear and detailed audio with excellent dynamic range. Integrated hardware controls include USB/direct mixing control, microphone volume adjustment, a mute button, and an LCD display showing the active polar pattern and recording levels.

For convenient monitoring, the microphone features a 1/8-inch headphone jack with a built-in amplifier, enabling zero-latency monitoring during recording. It includes a desktop stand with a threaded insert for optional boom stand mounting and is compatible with iOS devices via the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (sold separately), making it suitable for both studio and mobile setups.
