Overview

The Jagdtiger was the heaviest and most powerfully armed armoured fighting vehicle to see service in World War II. Based on the King Tiger's chassis, it was armed with a colossal 12.8cm gun capable of destroying Allied tanks from over 3,000 meters away. Its near-impenetrable frontal armour made it a terrifying opponent in the final battles of the war, from the Ardennes offensive to the defence of Germany.

This 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a highly detailed replica of an early production Jagdtiger. The model features a detailed fighting compartment interior, including the gun breech, shell racks, and floor panels. Premium components are included, such as photo-etched engine grilles. A unique feature is the inclusion of two different types of tracks—realistic assembly-type and easy-to-use belt-type—allowing the modeller to choose their preferred style.
